Sample MPEG Files Available
We get a lot of request for sample files encoded with the MediaPress encoder, so we decided to post a few. The files are MPEG elementary streams encoded with the MediaPress encoder via component input. These files are for evaluation use only and may not be used, shown or redistributed for any other reason. You’ll find them here:

The 1 megabit and 2 megabit streams are MPEG-1; all others are MPEG-2.- The files named ‘graphics…’ contain various computer-generated video and those
starting with ‘minnesota…’ are live video. - All are 16:9 aspect ratio.
Download the file(s) to your hard drive by using ‘Download linked file as’ command or equivalent in your browser.
Thanks to ProMedia Productions in Minnesota for providing the clips.
Cool. I am trying to figure out a way to really obtain the best compression.
So far, on my podcast, if I want to post a file that is downloadable on the iPod Video, I need to drop it in iTunes, then in the “Advanced” menu, I need to convert it for iPod. The result is an MPEG4 of 12 MB for slightly less than 2 and half minute of video shot in 4:3 letterbox.
