Using a Macintosh as a SMB server (Windows Sharing):

You must be using OSX 10.4 for Windows sharing.  Earlier OSX versions do not
work for Windows file sharing.

Turn on Windows Sharing from System Preferences.  Make sure you select what
users will be shared.

Here is the data for the MasonIP Server Configuration page :

Address:  xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx   [the IP number of the server]
Type: SMB
Mount Point: /(username)   [user name of the Macintosh server]
User Name: (username)   [user name of the Macintosh server]
Password: (userpassword)   [password of the User]

Example data for server setup:

Type: SMB
Mount Point: /Brian
User Name: Brian
Password: (Brian's password)
