The Quicktime transcoding function of MediaPress requires an active video source
to function correctly.  A continuous video signal needs to be input into the
MediaPress board and that source needs to be selected as the input.  In our labs
we have a continuous video feed of color bars connected to the composite input of
all our encoders, and this allows the board to function correctly for
transcoding.
