Ah…..finally a new firmware release directed towards the IT department.

Because the MasonIP player connects directly up to your corporate network structure, we have added more technical control over accessing your data servers. Server Domains are now supported, along with complete manual entry of server mount commands. This allows you to setup your MasonIP to access any server on your network, regardless of how it is configured. (more…)

We have a new firmware download (0.98e) available for the MasonIP decoder. This version adds a lot more functionality for DVD verification and testing. You can get the latest download by clicking HERE.

We’ve just posted an updated version of the MasonIP User Guide. It covers installation, setup and operation, as well as the new features added with the latest firmware update.

The Wired MediaPress encoder is still fully functional on Mac OS 9. A large portion of our previous users are still running their encode jobs using OS 9, and that’s just fine with us. The OS 9 software is still available on our ftp site, so if you wish to run your MediaPress encoder on OS 9, just log onto our ftp site and download the software.

The latest version of MediaPress is 1.3.1. Click HERE to get to our Wired FTP site to download the latest software. You will need MediaPress version 1.3 already installed in order to use version 1.3.1. Download and uncompress the MediaPressXv1.3.1.sit file. Copy this new MediaPress application into your MediaPress application folder. Now you will be updated to version 1.3.1

We get a lot of request for sample files encoded with the MediaPress encoder, so we decided to post a few. The files are MPEG elementary streams encoded with the MediaPress encoder via component input. These files are for evaluation use only and may not be used, shown or redistributed for any other reason. (more…)
